Artist's Comments

I've been very poetically active recently; the past few photographs I've uploaded all have accompanying poems of the same title. Someday, when I get a personal website, I'll have a poetry section. But I honestly don't feel comfortable posting my poetry in a community setting anymore.

HELP ME!! Okay, so I'm using the 50mm f/1.4 lens most of the time on my Rebel XT. My problem is I can never get it to focus on what I want it to, and sometimes it just is barely in focus. I've tried lowering the f #, tricking the lens, all with no avail. So I need to know if there is a prime lens just as good but with an easier focus method. Also, is this a problem with the lens or the camera? Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but this can't continue!

If you steal this I will rip your head off. I know that sounds unprofessional, but it makes me SO ANGRY.

50mm f1.4 lens is very good.. not sure why you're having these troubles. Try to focus manually..

Wish I could help, but I don't know a whole lot about cameras, sorry. As for the picture, it's beautiful!!

Do you have a remote? I had the same problem so my boyfriend bought me one from eBay. I haven't really had time to use it yet, but it helps! I've also tried putting a box or something where I'll be, which kind of worked sometimes..

This is a great shot! Very Lacanian. Access to the Real is lost completely and Eve will spend the rest of her life desiring for some way to touch it again.

Yeah, I have a remote. My main problem is I can't be in two places at once! If I wasn't the model, I would normally zone focus...

Cant you just set the remote to timer and stand where you want to be, and throw the remote somewhere? :P That's my plan
