Oh my God, I have no idea why I never uploaded this picture here. This is one of my favorite shots I've ever taken. I thought I had it up here. Better late than never. I'm going to replace this with the original, better quality file as soon as I get my external harddrive back.
It's hard to describe this picture in retrospect (even though it feels like yesterday), so I'll give you the Flickr description from when I uploaded it there:
"Before I say anything, I want to make it clear that I am having a great time in Italy. I'm feeling loads better, trust me. But there are some things a simple vacation cannot reverse, such as my insecurity and anger. I'm not begging for attention, I just need my outlet, thank you.
Please don't ask stupid questions or make even more stupid assumptions. And especially don't comment if you're going to tell me to 'stop whining' or 'you need help' (again, don't make assumptions). If it bothers you that much, click the "BACK" button and make all of us happier."
I did see this on your Flickr and I know the feeling of the emotion prtrayed in this picture. It is simply stunning, and you are beautiful, inside and out.

Very strong image.. And it can't be denied.. my mind is like crazy with thoughts regarding what happened, but somehow I prefer just gazing at it... You ARE beautiful!
-- If I give my heart to you, I must be sure from the very start, that you would love me more than her.
I understand, why this photo is one of your favourites. I love the lightning, which fits really well to the composition. The title makes me a little sad, because I can imagine how it is, when you don't feel beautiful. I think it's very brave of you to upload this picture and share it with others. It's a great shot, but many people have a problem with these themes.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
